'Hearthstone's most frustrating cards are getting nerfed in coming updates
Some of Hearthstone's most popular (and most hated) cards are being altered to help balance out the meta ahead of the HearthstoneWorld Championship.
SEE ALSO:'Hearthstone' guide: How to overrun opponents with a Zoolock deckMultiple hero cards, aggressive cards and Yogg-Saron are all getting changes in the coming weeks before the Last Chance Hearthstonequalifier tournaments for the World Championship.
Yogg has been getting mixed reactions from players because it's pretty unpredictable and can be very devastating late in the game if the player that uses it is lucky. The card is changing so that it stops casting random spells at random targets if it is destroyed, silenced, transformed or returned to your hand. It previously continued casting even if it made itself unusable.

The only other minion card being changed in the update is the Abusive Sergeant, a favorite for aggressive decks. Instead of having two attack power, the card will now only have one, making it's battlecry buff the focus and making it less appealing in the first turn.
Shamandecks are being used more than other hero decks in Hearthstone, so Blizzard is making some changes that balance out the pool a little more. Rockbiter Weapon's cost is changing from one mana gem to two with the goal of making it less ideal for easy minion removal.

Credit: BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENTWarriorsare also receiving two changes. Execute is a very effective card that is the bane of anyone facing a Warrior, especially in late game when a high-health minion can be removed for just one mana. Execute now costs two mana to balance it with other removal cards.
Credit: BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENTCharge is getting changed quite a bit with this update, making it a bit less effective and less draining on your mana. The card now costs one mana instead of three, no longer buffing your chosen minion with +2 Attack and not allowing that minion to attack heroes, removing its potential to win a game when paired with a fresh, powerful minion.
Credit: BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENTHuntersare just getting one change, amping up the mana cost of Call of the Wild from eight to nine. Call of the Wild is a bit too powerful for just eight mana and is being used in almost every Hunter deck.

The updates will likely hit on the next patch day, Oct. 4, just four days before the first Last Call tournament.
